Pre-Production: Auditioning cast

After choosing our potential ‘girl group’ cast, my group and I wanted to subtract some chosen members as we have seen them around and felt we didn’t want to include them, as they didn’t meet our criteria effectively. Therefore, we only chose to meet with, ‘Victoria Vanbreugal, Emma Bokken, Charlotte Penrice, Daisy Jelley’ and obviously our main ‘Juli Vadera.’ We placed out five girls in the studio and capture images of them on Fran’s professional Canon 100D Camera.

All five girls were surprisingly confident and very friendly to be around, this was a major bonus as Harvey, Fran and myself were all happy they would be organised, behaved well and confident to work with on shoot day. Similarly, all five girls worked well together and each met our intentions, consisting of looks of intimidation and bitchyness. However, even though we didn’t have our actual and realistic set/location, correct props, lighting and costumes enclosing them, we were still pleased with our outcomes. As we are now happy to move forward with our chosen cast, we will begin planning their individual looks, considering their costumes, hair and makeup and will hopefully capture an actual test shoot with more realistic items filmed on a professional filming camera.
