Pre-Production: Casting

Main girl and drummer

In preparation for our ideas and concepts, we carried out some further planning steps into our cast members. For example, my group and I researched into possible cast members. Firstly, for the main singer or drummer, we wish to use either Julie, Amira or Bird. 

Each girl represents a fairly similar look and we feel they will fit the voice of the artist the best. However, as we want our music video to be successfully viewed and responded to, we will carry out further auditions into these three girls to observe who suits the role the best, as this is a crucial and important aspect of the preparation. Each girl also learns music or theatre, so has a more developed understanding of the lip syncing and performance base.

Dancers

Similarly for the dancers we want to use Callum and David. My group and i confirmed we want to audition members to see who suits the roles the best for our video to be successful as I understand it is crucial for the artist to match the song. The reason, Callum and David were bought to the surface 

were because they do dance on a daily basis and attended many classes associated to contemporary, modern dance. (The style we wish for.)

In preparation for our video and pitch to Luke, we have researched our possible cast members and asked them if they could potentially take part and they all confidently confirmed they would be 'more than happy to.'
