Pre-Production: Developed planning

The group session today contained a full packed lesson of clear, relevant and imperative information leading to my group and I creating a developed and organised constructive plan. For instance, we firstly began by noting down important things we needed to do, in order for our music video to be successful and meet one’s expectations.

For example, the things we need to secure and attend to is as follows:

Location
Primarily, we are aware we need to notably access the address of the house, include many images and even cover and discuss health and safety hazards.

Props list and costume
Create a list of all items and allocate if we are providing them or the school. (Include description and photographic image)

High quality prototype
We understand we need to create further prototypes. This is important as we can see as a group what successfully works and what maybe hasn’t gone to plan. For instance, we can visually see particular shots, lighting, colour, sound movement, time and flow. It also provides a further, more effective representation then a story board as a prototype includes clear, visual and realistic sound and movement. This will also allow us to gain a much richer set of information as a form of media.

Cut the Track
Lastly, we also realise the importance of making our track accurate. For example, we understand it is a priority for test shoots and prototypes for the song to be accurately cut as it allows a more realistic execution of time and flotation and it will give more indication to the final product.
