Pre-Production: Summarising elements

We felt it was necessary to summarise all the elements of our video so far. By recapping all the elements, it allows everyone in my group to readjust and be on the same page. We also felt it was important as it visually shows if we need to add anymore additional elements or take anything out. We achieved this by firstly gathering all our primary elements together. For instance, the girl’s bitchy movements, our main girl lip syncing, our location and elements of costumes, props and hair. Therefore, we carefully worked out accurate and realistic timings.

Element
Time
Girl’s bitchy movements
30 seconds
Main girl lip syncing
1 minute
Location
10 seconds
Costume, prop and hair
7 seconds

So far, our elements will cover 1 minute and 47 seconds of our music video. Therefore, we understand we need to add further elements or essentially develop a consistent element, as our cut track comes to 2 minutes and 35 seconds. For instance, as a group we decided the girls need to have a structured plan and they need to do more, so we will attend to that; as well, we will effectively add another element as we still need to feel more seconds of our music video comfortably. We understand its better to have more footage then less.
